Since when do you know and use Symfony?

I’m using Symfony since 2007. So I obviously started with Symfony 1 and I’m now using Symfony2.

If you compare to the last Symfony Live conferences, everything is getting more and more professional!

Yesterday you were on stage for a presentation. Can you summarize it in a few words?

Well, my presentation was entitled “What mom never told you about Bundle configuration”. It was basically covered by what you got to do to improve your configuration. Indeed, we most of the time talk about design or stuffs like this but never care enough about configuration files. The objective is to show the unsuspected things you can improve: everything is structured in configuration files.

What kind of services are offered by the SensioLabs team in Germany?

We offer resources on developing Symfony2 applications. We help people maintaining their legacy in Symfony1 projects. We also do coaching, training for people interested in Symfony2. We also offer a package for people who are interested in starting usergroups. Then they are able to start their usergroups and connect them to the community.

To conclude, what is your general feedback about Symfony Live Conference?

I think that’s the biggest conference we had throughout the year. That’s the most professional one as well. If you compare to the last Symfony Live conferences, everything is getting more and more professional! Like the Symfony framework actually! I’m very impressed with everything here...
